Hi There!

Welcome to to our site! We are two Episcopal Priests who take God seriously but like to have a lot of fun. We discuss scripture. We laugh a lot. We love people. And we have a nefarious plan to help people see that God loves everyone!

Give our podcast a listen!

Isn’t there anyone who knows what Christmas is all about?

Isn’t there anyone who knows what Christmas is all about?

Merry Christmas from the Irreverends! Join us for a deeper dive into the meaning of Christmas. We begin, of course, with Isaiah, and the lyrics from Hendel’s Messiah (which had meaning in their own time). And Tim’s new Christmas song, which, the record can now reflect, did NOT catch on as he had hoped.

To get you in the mood, or to check on Tim’s claim (real? or urban myth?) click here to watch what is possibly the Christmas story’s perhaps most beloved retelling. (At least for those of us who used to watch this once a year on TV, back in the days when dinosaurs roamed the earth, and before God created Youtube.)

As always, the readings may be found at lectionarypage.net. (We used the readings for Christmas I.)

Listen on iTunesGoogle Play, or on our website!

If you appreciate what we’re doing to open up the Word, please leave a positive review on iTunes or Google Play, and invite a friend to listen!

We welcome your questions and comments – or your topic for a future segment of The Struggle is Real at Tim@theirreverends.com

MOST OF ALL: Thanks for listening!
