Episode 64: What happened to all the nard?

Join Gini and Tim for an exciting episode where we explore one of the most hopeful verses in Scripture (“I am about to do a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it?“) and discuss ancient wildlife. (And seriously, how would someone transport a bunch of ostriches?)

Then we turn to one of the few stories in the Bible that triggers our sense of smell. Mary (sister to Martha and Lazarus) uses a whole jar of expensive perfumed ointment – or nard – to anoint Jesus’ feet. The fragrance filled the whole house.
